Healys Organic is sourced from South America, based on flavour and availability. South America is the main centre for supply, given that there are vast tracts of wild and uninhabited land, ideal for organic honey production. Healys Organic Honey is sourced from Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay, these being the leading honey producing countries in South America. For bees to produce honey that can be classed as organic, there must not be fields that have been sprayed or have had chemical fertilisers applied for a radius of at least four miles around the hive. That is four miles in each direction.
